What do we do?
The Lustra Family exists to make human life feel larger, more connected and more worth experiencing. Through media, creation and shared experience, we inspire people to discover the world, embrace one another and take greater pleasure in being alive.
We believe everyday people hold more influence over human happiness than we often admit. The way we welcome, dismiss, encourage and understand one another shapes the world each day. When people accept responsibility for the life they create around others and gather across different languages, backgrounds and traditions, we create something genuinely worthy of pride.
The name Lustra comes from lustration, an act of purification and renewal, reflecting the Family’s belief that humanity can reject what diminishes us and create a brighter, more connected life together.
At the heart of Lustra is a carefully selected Family of independent creators in Sound and Screen. They remain independent while sharing recognition, relationships, opportunities and the pride of belonging to an institution with a common purpose. Their work helps bring the Lustra vision into the world.
But Lustra is not only for creators. Everyone is invited to experience what the Family creates, encounter new perspectives and participate in a richer expression of human life. Through media today and eventually gatherings, tables and lounges, Lustra gives people more reasons to meet, create and enjoy the world together.

How are Lustra Creators selected?
Every application is reviewed individually. Lustra looks for originality, genuine creative ability, commitment, positive human connection and work that would make the Family more interesting, beautiful or human. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission.

Does it cost anything to become a Lustra Creator?
No. Creator Membership is free. Admission cannot be purchased and audience size does not determine who is selected. Certain optional opportunities, such as professionally produced Spotlights, may have separate costs that are disclosed before participation.

What do Lustra Creators receive?
Accepted creators receive an official Lustra profile, membership in their Creator Class, access to the private Members’ House, connections with other selected creators and consideration for features, collaborations, Spotlights and future benefits. Membership provides a genuine place within the Family.

Is this a Christian group?
The Lustra Family is a Christian humanist institution, inspired by Christian belief in human dignity, personal responsibility, creativity and love for others. It is not a church and membership does not require adherence to Christianity. People of every faith and no faith are welcome to share in the Family, provided they respect the dignity and humanity of others.
